My emails keep appearing to be opened in random places

Email open tracking is never 100% accurate. Instead, it's more of a guess with high probabilities. This is due to limitations in email technologies that make perfect open tracking, location identification, and browser usage labeling impossible. No company can do it, and if they tell you they can, they're lying.

In fact, people can even intentionally change their settings to appear to be in different places or using different devices. Gmelius tries as best it can to provide accurate email open information, but always be sure to use it only as a general guide.

Link/click tracking is much more accurate. If your Gmelius activity stream tells you about a clicked link, you can be fairly confident about the location displayed.
